Those hankering for a gorgeous new scent needn’t look any further than Hermes’ Ambre Nargillah fragrance. An olfactory homage to Arabia, this heady scent is bursting with warm, rich and deeply woody notes – certainly not for the faint-hearted.
It was inspired by the creator Jean-Claude Ellena’s journey to the Middle East where she wandered through lively shisha cafes and enveloped by exotic scents of tobacco infused with smells of fruit, honey and spices.
The eau de toilette opens up rather intensely but you’ll soon be hit with sweet honey and amber accords, creating a harmonious composition. Heads up, each spritz goes a long way so use sparingly. We recommend one on the neck and one on your wrists and you’ll be good for the rest of the evening. No touch ups necessary. The scent is housed in the French Maison’s classic bottle that looks like it was meant to sit on your dressing room table – available without a leather case.
