Jewelry focus: Jacquie Aiche

Jacquie Aiche truly seems to have the Midas touch, from starting her jewelry line in her garage to owning an empire with its own tribe of successful, beautiful and famous women; she literally turns everything into gold.

Her pieces which we all lust over through her Instagram account have a certain mysticism around them that stems from Jacquie having been raised in a multi-cultural home with both Egyptian and Native American parents.

This created her distinctive style; It is the unlikely combination of these two richly storied heritages that creates her signature aesthetic. The merging of Native American turquoise relics, fossils, and precious gemstones, with the Middle Eastern influences of hammered gold, amulets, and goddess imagery, it is what drives Jacquie’s design philosophy.

Jackie started in 2007 with the finger bracelet that she used to sell in her clothing store without telling her clients it was her own design; fast-forward 11 years and the finger bracelet is her signature piece that everyone in her tribe owns. And when we say everyone we mean everyone, from Gigi Hadid and Rihanna to Alessandra Ambrosio, Emily Ratajkowski and Kendall Jenner are big fans of her line. Not just fans, these women are a part of her #JATribe, as Jacquie calls it. This tribe is the biggest influence on her work, she says: “A woman’s natural beauty can be illuminated with the right piece of jewelry, and that is my mission; to create jewelry that will make every woman look and feel uniquely beautiful”.

The tribal feel does not stop there for Jacquie; much like her designs, she is the embodiment of ethereal ease with a hint of rebellion and her showroom in Beverly Hills reflects that.

This is not your normal, cold and boring showroom, this is LA’s trendy hotspot.

You walk into a beautiful garden that the designer cares for herself, and you can find her inside barefoot amongst dreamcatchers, sage bundles, precious stones and plenty of beautiful pieces and gems that fill every corner of the space.

The second floor is even more magical as it is a large spa room where she invites her friends and clients to do yoga and sound baths, facials and massages.

The designer also focuses heavily on the power of gemstones, she took a crystal healing class and became captivated by their powers. She works a lot with labradorite, it’s one of her favorites and its renowned for helping with digestion and stability. She helps her clients find the right stone for them; the general rule depends on the color of the gemstone. Lighter colors are usually calming, while the yellows, oranges, and reds are more energetic stones.
