Meet German-Morrocan artist Tasnim Baghdadi. Famed for her majestic illustrations and regal patterns, she distinctly explores tradition and heritage through her wonderful visions which have attracted the undivided attention of the creme de la creme of the industry. From abstract to figurative, her masterpieces are often not as they seem and while they are at the mercy of your own interpretation, they leave nothing to be desired.
Anything but ordinary, Cologne-born Baghdadi is self-taught and has always aspired to create her very own visual language. She combines a variety of techniques and uses everything from pen and ink, gouache, acrylic and installation to elevate her standout works of art. The stunner currently resides in Fribourg, Switzerland, but you won’t have to travel far to see her work as Dubai hotspot La Cantine Du Faubourg will be adorning their walls with some of her best pieces.
