Piaget is a Swiss luxury brand founded in 1874 by Georges Edouard Piaget, that has since been run by his sons and grandsons making it, purely a family business. Piaget was initially known for manufacturing watch movements, but ever since they became a registered trademark, in 1943, they started making their very own creation. Moreover, ultimately they become a reference brand for men’s watches in 1960. Their first high jewelry collection was created in 1959, and thirty-one years later the first Possession collection was launched.
Fast forward to today, the brand has not only continued to be successful but has been able to remain faithful to their vision. In 2008, they were named the 6th most prestigious luxury brand by the Luxury Institute. Piaget remains still a prestigious reference for jewelry lovers, which explains Olivia Palermo’s association with the brand. For the third consecutive year now, the Swiss luxury Maison has teamed up with style icon, Olivia Palermo to celebrate the newest additions to the Possession collection. We couldn’t pick a better face for the brand even if we wanted to; the New York socialite makes the entire collaboration believable, but most importantly for some reason, the Possession collection seems even more relatable now.
The elegant but playful collection constitutes of different discrete necklaces, rings, diamond bracelets and watches that can easily be worn every day. Back in 2017, the brand decided not only to add colors to the collection but also had it featured on different e-commerce websites that were the perfect fit such as Net-A-Porter and Neiman Marcus. Interestingly enough, it was the open bangle that had the most success. As Olivia Palermo showed us in her latest ad campaign for the brand shot in Dubai, the bracelet is an easy piece to style. You can get a couple of them in different colors such as turquoise, onyx or malachite, just to name a few, so that you can mix and match and adequately style your arm.
The collection is effortlessly elegant and comes in different styles suitable for any women. The open Possession bangle comes in rose gold and white gold, and one can choose to get it with the diamonds finishes or not. It retails for approximately two thousand dollars and up, and is available in select stores and online on the websites mentioned above.
