This autumn’s fashion week is going to be iconic and become a part of the fashion history for sure. During Milan’s fashion week the Italian fashion house Versace showed their collection for the SS18 season with an epic show that will be remembered.
Donatella Versace decided to pay tribute to the Gianni’s Versace work and show us a retrospective collection with some of the most iconic designs the Italian fashion guru ever created. The most powerful moment of the show was the grand finale when the Versace goddesses – Naomi Campbell, Carla Bruni, Helena Christensen, Cindy Crawford and Claudia Schiffer walk down the runway in a gold metal gowns recreating the famous walk from the Fall/Winter 1991s fashion show.
Usually, when a fashion house pays tribute to a designer’s work, that means that someone new will take the position as a creative director and today’s Versace show make us question the future of the brand. Is this the last collection under the Donatella’s supervision and is the famous fashion house going to have a new creative director for the next season? Only the time will show.
